Join us for National Trails Day where we will be supporting the US Forest Service (USFS) work on the Challenge Trail. After trail work, AMBA will provide BBQ and beverages at the 9 Mile Picnic area.
Trail work volunteers meet in front of the Sandia Ranger District office on NM-337 before each workday at 9:00 a.m.
What to bring: Please come dressed/prepared in long pants, sturdy shoes and have water (2 liters or more) and lunch/snacks. It is recommended volunteers also bring extra clothes/jacket and sunscreen.
What will be provided: Gloves, hardhats, trail tools, and after project BBQ / refreshments.
